FAQ

Q1.  How do I know you have the right skillset to complete my project?

A1.  We can furnish a complete resume as well as details on any similar projects as yours.   We understand that it is risky to bring on “newcomers” to your project and we try to build trust in our capabilities.

Q2.  How much do you cost?

A2.  Since we pride ourselves on concepting new/proposed products, processes, and equipment, the biggest benefit is new technology.  To do this requires researching various technologies to see how it can help your project.   We charge typical consulting engineering hourly costs for principal engineers and cost out other “as needed” professionals according to typical hourly costs.

Q3.  What is a typical contract?

A3.  We ask for a retainer down to cover the first 2 weeks plus lead time to receive payment after invoicing.  If the process results in patentable IP (intellectual property), we invoice a one time fee that is dependent on each project and is clearly stated in the contract.

Q4.  How am I protected?

A4.  We will sign a thorough NDA (non-disclosure agreement) before discussing the project to make sure you as the customer are fully protected.  We go a bit further to include confidentiality and non-compete clauses.  We can furnish a typical NDA of ours or review yours and sign.
